The Coalition for the Legal Rights of People with Disabilities (CLRD) is a broad coalition of legal and other advocates, including people with disabilities, united to promote empowerment, liberation, and integration of all people with disabilities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Coalition seeks to preserve and extend the supports for and rights of people with disabilities through education, legal intervention, and systematic advocacy. To accomplish these goals, CLRD -
CLRD meetings are held every six weeks from September through May in Boston. Meetings are open to all. Much of the work of CLRD is done in small groups which meet to draft legislation, lobby for legislation, or to assist in on-going litigation.
CLRD Membership
Membership in CLRD accrues automatically to all Newsletter subscribers (or to the representatives of subscribing organizations). Members present at a meeting may vote, when votes are taken.
The price of a year's subscription to the Newsletter is only $16.00. Payment should be made by check made out to "MLRI" and sent to:

Each subscription individually expires one year from the date it starts. The price is reduced or waived for poverty law advocates and for certain others, in most cases because the cost would be a financial burden.
